Come on man, did you not read my whole post? I said 143 possibly not healthy not 145. It makes a difference and Roach knows this. That is why Cotto wants 145.

I don't disagree that 147 would be a greater advantage for Cotto but IF Pac wants the welterweight title then he can't try to take away that advantage. If it's just a fight for bragging rights and making some money then no problem but it just doesn't sit well with me that you want to weaken a welterweight below his full welterweight potential and still claim the welterweight title if you beat him.

Excellent point. Berto would be so much easier. But that would be a Floyd kind of move:rofl:rofl:rofl

No, the 143 Roach wants Cotto to come down to.

The thing is that there in no money in a Berto fight. The Cotto fight has both the money and the belt.

i just answered ur question by asking you what if they agreed at 145 coz i dont agree on the 143. The thing is, 145 will be competitive for Cotto IMO.

You might be right, but let's wait and see what the stipulations are as the negotiations progress. 143 could just be a starting point for Team Pac.

Again, I will ask you the same question. Will @145 weaken Cotto?

That'll be crazy if that were to happen. ESB would be a warzone between the Floydettes and the *******s  I like the way you think though because it's not outside the realm of possibilities.

One little point. I haven't heard Pacquiao saying anything. This was Roach. Roach is being a trainer and a manager too. He is protecting Manny.

I agree , the belt should only be on the line only if PAC goes to 147
