Who do you rate higher trinidad or mosley?

Trinidad.

True 3 division champion. Dominant. Longer reign as champion. Higher calibre opposition. The only thing that Mosley did better than Tito was beat 1 fighter in DLH.

Forrest was able to hurt him real bad and he doesn't hit anywhere near as hard and isn't half the finisher Tito is. If Tito managed to hurt Shane he would either stop him or give him a David Reid type of beating.

And I rank Tito over Mosley by a good margin. Tito can be placed somewhere around top 80 all-time great. Mosley on the other hand might not even make the top 100. Great fighter, especially in his prime, but his current resume doesn't stack up.

 

That's a foolish statement.

 

Every time we talk about Mosley's chin someone has to bring up the Forrest knockdowns, yeah Forrest did knock him down but he didn't finish him off, Mosley came back from it. Since that knockdown check out the serious fighters Mosley fought and tell me if anyone came close to doing the same with him again.

Vargas was able to go far with Trinidad so did many others so I don't see how Mosley gets KO'd for the first time with his underrated defense. If there is anyone that is at risk of getting KO'd in this one then that's Trinidad in my opinion. My prediction would be that it goes the distance in a close/tough battle.

 

Take a look at his resume. Fighting the guys he did and only getting knocked down twice without coming close to being KO'd or stopped ever you want to say that's a foolish statement?

 

Trinidad is a better finisher than Forrest though so I am sure that he would have been able to put some more hurt IF he got Mosley in that position. he is also a more accurate puncher and much much harder. Forrest was able to hurt Mosley more throughout the fight (not as bad as the first one obviously). Tito would probably have been able to do the same.

Mosley was never hurt like that again but he never fought a puncher like Tito.

I agree with you that the fight probably goes the distance. I just disagree that it would be outside the realm of possibility for Tito to score the stoppage.

 

Better opp huh? Mosely all the way!!!! Mosely fought winky twice, vernon twice, DLH twice, Frenando Vargaz twice, Collazo, Margacheato, Mayorga and was on top of the P4P list and defended the LW tittle a hand full of times. How did Trinidad fight better opp?

 

I still insist he won't get the KO. Mosley fought DLH twice who arguably beat Trinidad in that robbery of a fight and DLH was able to stun/wobble Tito numerous times, was DLH able to do the same to Mosley?

Mosley got caught with a punch he didn't see coming against Forrest and a headbutt was also involved there. I just don't see how Mosley who constantly moves and has excellent defense would allow Trinidad who is one dimensional and predictable to KO him.
