Absolutely. Despite what people think, Chavez Jr is quite a decent cow when it comes to PPV and live gate revenue. He brings in the two most important markets outside of the casual fan. The lineage fan who wants to see the continuation of the Chavez dynasty and the anti-fan who hates that he's protected, coddled and covered up for and can't wait to see him exposed. Those two fan bases actively buy his PPVs and both he and Arum make decent money doing these Latin Fury events. I have to imagine the numbers and the money would JUMP if you throw in Mosley's fan base and the fact that Mosley is quite respected amongst mexican boxing fans. Seriously even though you don't think about it, it certainly would make Shane more money than Berto or Williams.
Weren't all his recent PPVs failures? Still I don't think this is a fight that will make him more money than Berto or Williams. You can be right of course.
That's not what I heard. I heard they all broke even and some were successes beyond that. Here's the thing about breaking even though, since we don't necessarily know how many people bought PPVs it's almost impossible to know what necessitates a break even point. Could be 40K for all we know. I know his rematch with Vanda did pretty well all things considered.
Even if he's doing good they won't rush him against Mosley yet, the guy sucks so bad he's having trilogies/robberies with the cabdrivers his father made an amateur record on.
