Since Floyd NEVER lost his title (P4P) in the ring and if he beat Manny who took his crown after floyd reliquished it by retiring....FLoyd would regain his crown as the P4P champ. No matter how he won as long as it wasn't a win on technicality or a out right robbery. But excelling point and perspective. That's what makes the P4P ranking system so complex. There are so many variables and outside factors to consider, but at some point you just have to take a win as a win.

If both fighters weigh in at or under 147 lbs then of coarse the title should be on the line.

welterweight is 140-147 if they want to fight at 145 its still WITHIN welterweight, if you guys want cotto to be at 147 then might as well make them on the day of the weight in so it would be fair.. i mean this catch is just make things a little even, on fight night will out weigh pac for more than 10lbs thats a lot, or maybe he it can be on limit of 147 but cotto shouldnt weigh more than 153 on fight night just to make it even

This fight is for something more than an ABC belt IMO. So whether Cotto puts his belt on the line or not is not that important to me.

But the limit should be 147 not 144.

140 is still Jr WW. 140.1-147 is all WW. As long as the fight is above 140 it should be for Cotto's title. Cotto is not FORCED to fight Pacquiao. If he don't like the weight then don't take the fight.

If you want to call yourself a WW champion then you have to fight guys without any weight restrictions up to 147lbs.

sorry may bad. but the point is it is still within ww.. what im sure though is that by fight night is that pac will be more ww than cotto who will be in the right weighing like mw. so catch weight 145 for titles is just to even the odds
