We shall see. Hopefully you are right. However, Versus pushing Ross would make sense (he's their first and only homegrown boxing "product" after TC). It would be outrageous, but in a way would make a twisted kind of sense. Would be consistent with ESPN and Showtime often putting questionable fights atop worthier ones to highlight "their" fighters.

Right it certainly does make sense...that said of course, I have to hope the people on Versus are smart and avoid shoving Ross own the collective throats of the viewing public. He's not main event material right now if ever.

Yeah that round screwup gives me hope. It's weird that they got everything else right though. Down to Ross and Simms' names and records being bigger. Hopefully the poor web designer who cobbled that graphic together gets a stern talking-to and maybe a retraining and someone doesn't lose their job over this. Fate worse than death in this economy. :yep

 

He's exciting. He could headline a FNF or Versus card with the right dance partner (against Simms though...eh, I don't know...).

Bottom line here is Diaconu-Pascal is a title fight, a true pick'em (as opposed to a gimme) and a WAY bigger deal involving better fighters (and better known - at least internationally).

Yeah just re-watched Diaconu Hoye and I have to say this could get really ugly for Pascal cause Diaconu is way faster then most people give him credit for.

 

Yes Diaconu has underrated speed but I must say Pascal is extremely fast.
