You know i don't like Oscar De La Hoya, but he defo won that rematch with Shane Mosley, defo, ridiculous robbery, one of the worst i've sat and watch unfold as it happened. Not that im saying a win over a 154 pound Shane Mosley is amazing or anything.

    1. Barrera (cant stand him)
    2. Pacquiao (like him in general but just feel it needs to happen in order to cash some reality checks)
    3. Mayweather (used to always root against him, dont care much anymore, just want to see him in mega fights, win or lose)
    4. Tarver (boring ****)
    5. Kahn (dont mind him either way but same deal as Pac, some fans needed reality checks, now we can start from scratch + he beat Barrera so thats fantastic:D)

    Why do you dislike Barrera?

Why do all Morales fans hate Barrera?

The same reason all Frazier fans hate Ali. They are sore as **** that their boy come out on the losing end of a trilogy. That's the bottom line. He has no other reason to hate Barrera, he was apart of many great fights like Morales, he was one half of his favorite fight of all time. He just dislikes him because he thinks Morales would want him too. Babies.

Ya I am a big oscar fan, but admit shane beat him fair and sqaure in a BRILLIANT first fight. That was defintley one of the biggest hits to oscars career. But I thought oscar took the 2nd clearly. But in your defense, the first fight meant more than the 2nd fight.

Shane is a great fighter, that dominating win over Antonio Margarito at age 37 is something special.

Mosley vs Margarito was more brutal than Duran vs Moore, Ali vs Terrel, or Willard vs Dempsey in my opinion.

It's hard to watch so many right hands bounce off Margarito's face. Mosley destroyed granite that night.

Nah, he did say that 130,000 Mexicans cannot afford tickets.

I don't have thin skin, but that is what he said after all:lol:

McGrain will be all over the Dempsey-Willard comment shortly!

Yeah Shane-Margo was very brutal indeed, but i think it's not in another stratosphere to Moore's beatdown, i think some may think it more brutal, maybe i do, not sure. But for me Dempsey-Willard was more of a massacre. Just my opinion.

I probably went over the top including Dempsey Willard, maybe not that brutal, but I watched Duran vs Moore a few weeks ago.

I feel Mosley's destruction over Margarito went on for longer, and was more brutal. Margarito has been proven to have a hell of a beard on him, and Mosley stomped on him. He loaded up on all those right hands, and they just bounced off his face...every time it was thrown. Margarito did well to stay up for as long as he did.

In 20 years time, people should be mentioning this in the same breath as Duran/Moore. It's that brutal.

Yeah i mention it in that breath already to be honest, it's just an opinion that swings it either way, it was a massacre. The thing that gets me about Moore's beatdown is his inexperience and Duran's experience coupled together, makes for real mashing.

Absolutely. We can agree to disagree, it's all opinion.

You either couple the fact that Moore was inexperienced and had to endure a brutal beating at the hands of Roberto Duran of all people.

Or you could put the Mosley beating in perspective when considering Margarito took Cintron, Williams, and Cotto's best shots without flinching, but was reduced to a pile of mess after 11 rounds with Mosley.

Ironically, Margarito proved just how good of a chin he has by lasting as long as he did.

Yeah defo, good post. I'm in the general at the minute, haven't been on there for maybe about a year before today, was bored and saw McGrain was over there on this thread about Roberto Duran, its quite fun!

I always wanted Calzaghe to lose but it never happened due to him slapping up geriatrics. Amir Khan is another and Vargas never liked those two also Steve Collins when he fought Benn as I was a huge Benn fan.
