I gave it to Burns by two rounds.... he allowed himself to get drawn in and at times switched off a bit... lacked concentration... I think that he was looking beyond O 'Hara... a mistake made by many fighters... Burns will learn so much from tonight and Billy will make sure that he develops from it in the way he has developed since the Johannsen fight...

I thought that Burns may have overcooked it in the gym with this fight...:think or the complete opposite and was not able to get up for it in the manner the challenge of Gomez brought last time :think

 

Yeah he forgot to deduct the point. Even after Ian Darke brought it up a round or two later when talking about the card. Fly *******.

 

i think mr burns underestimated kevin o'hara and i told him so,ricky won the fight ok though he was getting blisters in his right foot and badly damaged his right hand,i what was a tough fight which i said it would be.

 

Billy that fight could have gone the other way, there were at least 4 rounds that were hard to call either way and O'Hara pressed Burns the whole fight.

The lack of punching, reminded me off Anderson on Burns's last bill. Eg injury. Tbh i didnt say here, more as i expected some kinda backlash/contempt......the blisters mean **** all though. Then again i aint a pro, maybe they do **** wi ya, or can.


Probs no similarities but i had to wonder why he took it close, i knew he didnt fear the boys punch but as u know and Burns does, even winning rounds, ya never know with judges.

 

I think that Ricky will learn loads from this fight Billy in the same way he learn't from the Johannsen fight... the only reason why Ricky lost against Johannsen was because he allowed himslef to stand in front of him and fight Carls fight..... :bbb
