Mando Muniz and John Stracey beat much better fighters than Phillip Ndou did

Yeah, but those who saw Floyd beat Ndou like me and you saw Floyd beat a tough guy in Ndou. Who did Ricardo Torres beat before he fought Cotto? Look how much trouble he gave Cotto.

And what is wrong with shouting about Ndou anyway? Like that's some sort of shitty scalp? Like only famous names are to be mentioned and anyone without top-line name recognition doesn't matter? Pretty pitiful stuff, isn't it.

And this would be my next point, when he no doubt comes back with something embarrassing.

"street thug with only basic boxing skills":rofl

You are out of your mind and you do not seem to know a lot about boxing. Duran's skill are sublime but very subtle, the guy could do everything, had a great defense and is without a doubt one of the greatest offensive machine ever. He is the definition of multidimensional. You need to watch him carefully because some things he does can not be noticed by general viewers. The fact that he won a middleweight title when he was 38 years old speaks for itself. Just ask anyone with more knowledge than you, he is a legend, even if he was not always consistent. All great trainers aknowledge him as one of the greatest fighter ever, Freddie Roach on ESPN said that he's the best boxer he's ever seen, Mike Tyson praises him, Ray Arcel who saw everyone from the 20's to the 80's said that Duran may know boxing more than him.

Napoles was 35 and would retire after the fight.

All a champion has to do is beat someone who gives him a tough challenge whether they have credentials or not. People remember those fights. Not every fighter a guy faces will have excellent loooking credentials going in before the fight, yet the expression...that is why you fight the fight is world renound lol...

As I said. He was an ATG below welter. But above welter he was average. Yes he beat Iran Barkley, but Iran Barkleys claim to fame is knocking out a chinny Thomas Hearns and little else. And yeah he fought for a long ass time, and you have to take that into account, but its more who you beat.

Yes. And before that he was unbeaten at 147 for four years.

But see what you want to see. Stracey was the WW that broke the great Napoles, but for you he's nobody because you "haven't hear of him and there's a reason for that".

Nobdoy can deny you your ignorance, knock yourself out.

Ndou was ok. But come on, FLoyd called out the round he would knock him out in. He said he'd KO him in 6 and did it in 7.

Again, it's a former lightweight beating an aggressive, punching Middleweight. It's a huge achievment for a guy who's best weight was 135. Casamayor v Pavlik, got it?

Looks like Stracey caught Napoles at just the right time. It happens. A old guy gets beat by an unknown. And besides that, who did Stracey beat?

Also, wasn't the whole thread about Duran not being on the same level as the other fab 3? I think someone is changing his tune.............

He did catch Naples at the right time. Naples was not even a shadow if himself in that fight.
