If it wasn't a 10-8 round then it was very close to one. A lot of Cotto's punches were getting through Clottey's guard and he was rarely firing back. He could perhaps claim he was playing possum but in reality he getting wailed on and was in real trouble in that round.

Clottey was playing possum. Maybe 40% of the punches Cotto threw in that round go through. And it was obvious CLottey wasnt hurt because in the last minute of hte fight he was countering well off the ropes landing several flush shots on Cotto.

Spin it whatever way makes you feel better about Cotto's dirty tactics.:good

Its clear as day Cotto threw him to the ground. Watch it again(1:20) and try and tell me Cotto was not at fault.

we'll agree to disagree. clottey was trying to piggy back cotto, cotto turned and pushed him off, clottey fell and pulled a meryl streep

I dont know about you guys but this is what I noticed....
It looks like somebody was holding on the ropes and caused the ref and CLottey to slip forward. So what looked like Clottey clinching I believe was a slip. Cotto had all the rights to do what he did Clottey jumped on him.

he was lucky clottey took several rounds off. i agree if clottey had fought hard all fight he would have won but he didn't. between the acting, the posing and standing there with his high guard he threw just enough punches to lose

I just tripped over one of my dog's toys and fell to the ground harder than Clottey did. Here I am a minute later typing. Regardless of whether or not Cotto intentionally pushed Clottey down (which I believe there was some intent), Clottey was way over dramatic. Not what I expected from Cintro, I mean, Clottey.

Man Clottey is such a ***** compared to you being in a 12 round boxing match and all :nut
