    Fights a very, very tough Carl Froch at 168. Next takes one interim fight at 168 (scores a KO). Then moves up to fight for the title at 175 against one of the guys not many people have wanted to take on.

    Wins the title and hands Diaconu his first loss by fighting smart, hard and with a champ's heart.

    Congratulations, Jean Pascal -- excellent job and you have won many fans tonight.

    You are an asset to the fight game and your "take-on-all-comers" approach is just what boxing needs when many in the sport are ducking meaningful competition and making fans feel that fighters don't care about setting-up bouts the public wants to see. Enjoy the win and the belt!

    Pascal=warrior.

    Was crazy whe he stood flat footed in there with Froch and Diaconu.

    It really was, wasn't it?! Awesome!!!

    I didn't know what to expect with the Froch fight, but I thought for sure Diaconu would take him out, eventually.

    Terrific stuff! :thumbsup
