Cotto too strong and too big for PAC or PAC too fast for Cotto?!

Oscar landed a left hook on pacquiao's face. I won't look it up for you. Go watch it. Marquez and Morales are different fighters compared to cotto. Both guys are far better than cotto when it comes to skills. The video you posted is the old cotto. I don't know if you saw the Clottey Cotto fight. You need to watch that to since I won't be looking for it for you.

 

Perhaps one day I will be given an explanation as to why most people on the General Forum had turned a blind eye to the cut Cotto suffered in the 4th round. :huh

 

^ Now you brought up the cut on the eye. Even before the Cut, cotto was moving slower than usual. I give him props for not bitching out of the fight because of the cut. He is a true fighter. Pacquiao had a cut on the eye when he fought Marquez and Morales too and that was when Pacquiao wasn't even as great as he is now. Remember he was called a one dimensional fighter during those days? Even though I wouldn't call him one dimensional.

I really hope nobody would call Cotto SHOT or Weight drained or any other bull**** when he loses to Pacquiao. the fight can go either way but what really annoys me is whenever Pacquiao wins, there is always an excuse why he won. Either the guy he fought was over the hill, weight drained, had sex prior the fight, had a fever, broke a nail etc.

 

Miguel Cotto had scored a knockdown and was in front on the cards before the cut came. He is guilty of being very casual in the ring at times, but when Miguel lets his hands go, he has reasonable speed in his punches. I think he'll knock Pacquiao out at 145 or 147.

 

I love Pacman but everyone is losing thier mind over this little guy. He is a great fighter but he is coming off wins against a punching bag, a walking corpse and a over rated brawler with no defense who was nearly koed by "The Hispanic Causing Panic". Cotto is a monster, he has gone to war with the biggest welter weights in the world. Losing two pounds is not going to kill Cotto. Cotto's jab and body work will cancel out Pac's speed and lead to a brutal beating. Do you think Pacman hits harder than Clotty, Judah, Margarito and Mosley? The answer is no. Pacman will be fighting one of the best fighters on the planet in his prime and he will pay dearly for it. Cotto will KO Pacman in 9 rounds of brutal punishment.

 

LOL to tell you the truth, I really can't believe Clottey got knocked down because of a Jab. I keep watching it over and over and I have to say it's a combination of both off balance and really getting knocked down with a Jab.

Cotto let his hands go many times when he had clottey on the ropes. Didn't see much speed there. Clottey blocked most of it either.

 

I gave Manny Pacquiao all of the credit in the world after he did the demolition job over Ricky Hatton. His greatest win to date, in my opinion.

Likewise, I hope if Manny loses he won't be blaming it on his socks. Look, we can play this game all day.

I just hope for a good competitive fight and a conclusive winner.

 

Pacman is too fast, IMO. This is why I want to see him fight Mosley the most as they'll be quite closely matched.

Clottey has a really high guard, and a much better defense than Manny Pacquiao.

I refuse to judge Miguel Cotto on his last performance because his eye sight was impaired. It's nonsensical to me.

Pac too fast

 

Mosley was not moving at all. To me, that night showed Mosley's age. Mosley is not as fast as he used to be. He was slower than cotto but his hand speed was still there.

 

Nah Man Mosley was SLOOOW when he fought Cotto. It was like Cotto vs Clottey but Clottey was extra DARK
