Not at all. His blood levels have been normal for years. Chagaev is a healthy carrier of hepatitis antigen with constantly normal liver enzymes.

I'd imagine it affects your training. Perhaps it did not effect this particular camp, but if you have a disease that means you may have to take time off, as opposed to someone who can afford to train all of the time and always be practicing and honing their craft. Training is more than one single camp, it's an ongoing process, and being sick can't be good for it.

Unless Chagaev and his management team are completely lying, Ruslan Chagaev does not 'have' Hepatitis B and is therefore not 'sick' or 'diseased'.

So the answer to how much it would impair him would be 'not at all'.

You aren't understanding Chagaev's condition. He doesn't get sick with Hepatitis B. He is a healthy carrier of the Hepatitis antigen. His blood levels and liver enzymes are perfectly normal.

Okay. I guess that's different. So he's like a carrier but doesn't actually get sick? He's still getting knocked out though!

Chagaev should just get himself cut up in the first round and smear his blood all over Wlad to get a victory
