You thought Pascal vs Diaconu could gone either way? If you meant by that then you're 100 percent way wrong. It was a great fight but a very clear victory for Pascal. I only gave Diaconu 4 rounds.

I thought the fight could have gone either way too, and I picked Pascal to win. A lot of rounds were very tough to score and if you gave the benefit of the doubt to the champion you could have had a very close fight. Diaconu nearly pulled out anyway with a late knockout. This fight screams for a rematch!

i just got a question for you. was you a pascal fan before this fight and with being a fan of diaconu where do you think both they go from here? also do you speak canadian? cause i would like to know what diaconu corner was telling him the commentators was saying his corner was telling him he was winning. i thkin diaconu really needs to work on his timing against faster fighters i mean he will always fight his fight being smaller but if can catch you coming in or leaving out. pascall moved in and out almost untouch at times and i wonder being 5-9 can he drop down in weight and maybe fight guys his height. pascal to me dont jab enough and being the taller man he should fought at his height and need to keep those hands up people want to speak bout dawson hand low pascal had both to his side. both man takes a good punch. also any word about that cheek?? i was impress and how much punishment diaconu took on the cheeck in the 12th after it swelled that had to hurt.

 

I like both guys but obviously I was rooting for my boy Diaconu.

Where do they go?Well Pascal has to defend against mandatory Branco,Diaconu will probably get a fight in the interim and then apparently the rematch clause will be used for a rematch in early 2010.

I don't speak canadian(french) but Diaconu doesn't speak french that good either so his corner spoke english to him.Bouchard was generally giving him good advice,saying he won the rounds was probably more to keep him focused than anything.Diaconu could probably make 168 but he'd be too drained to perform at 100%.
Pascal makes a few mistakes,hands down,walks out straight back,stands and trades too much.He can correct them IMO.
At the press conference the cheekbone didn't look that bad.Tomorrow I will probbaly get more info.

so it was just swelling? cause at first i didnt know if the cheek bone was broke or not. the commentators i thought said they was speaking french. maybe one thing versus might need to do is have translators in the corners i mean this wont be versus last veiwing of another language. and maybe try to get the showing commercial free would be nice so we can see more of the corner in between rounds. yeah hopefully pascal does work on those mistakes. also was that bute in his corner?

The commentators said they were speaking french in Pascal's corner indeed.In Diaconu's corner they were speaking english.And yeah those commercials were annoying.

Yeah that wa sBute than came with Diaconu,also Jojo Dan the junior welterweight was there too.They always support eachother.Bute was in front row with Larouche.

 

i thought that was bute. i dont no of other guy. damn commentators.if is a broken cheekbone how long does it take to heal and does it require surgery cause i no nothing bout cheekbones. but anywas i wish the best for diaconu. and maybe we will see more of him in the us. i have nothing bad to say about him.
