He might of done, but probably not on the sheer odds of it. No, Haye would have been dancing around out of range with his hands down throwing telegraphed rights occasionally. At least, thats what he did against Barrett.

I think they realize it but they have to get past the jab.. Even then Wlad either ties them up or moves out of the way.
Klit is panicky whenever chag puts on a bit of pressure, i cant help think that if Haye was putting on some pressure it would be a LOT more meaningful than what Chag is serving up?
How many of Wlad's right hands would it take to stop Haye though? I can't see him taking anywhere near as many as Chagaev has.
