:lol::lol::rofl:rofl:rofl I think now we finally put an end to that ridiculous comment. Does anyone seriousely thinks that guy beats Jersey Joe Walcott, Floyd Patterson, and Ezzard Charles? They would make him look foolish. Does Chagaev even know how to throw a right hook?

Congrats to Wlad the new LINEAR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! you earned it! Wlad looked very sharp tonight. I would like to see wlad open up with his left hook and combinations more, but good job. You have to get your combinations from the 1990s back! You could have finished off that clown!

WOOO HOOO go wlad! Bring on David Haye! Wlad needs to pass the test against a young dangerous puncher! Haye will give him that test. Haye is a man who will come into him pressure him and throw heavy leather....wlad will HAVE to open up with combinations, and underrated left hook. He cant fight the way he did tonight. Wlads awesome technique and very elegant boxing skills can't get him by against a style like haye...he needs to open up on Haye. Haye is going to be very dangerous for Wlad.

Congrats to Wlad! WOOO! GO WLAD! Wlad is building himself quite the legacy!

Haha, been waiting to let that out haven't you SQ?

I can't remember who made the comment about top 5, genuinely can't remember.

He could easily be in the top-5 at any time in any decade. The problem remains that Wlad, in the same decade, would be number 1 or 2.

I knew there'd be a thread about this again tonight :yep

Maybe Mendoza should publicly thank me for not posting lists for him to analyse and try to build Chagaev even more than he already did.

Sure old WALDO deserves praise for what he did tonight, he did what he had to do again but Chagaev sucks just as bad as I thought he did all along. People that said he was a better opponent than Haye....words fail me.

We'll see what's what after one of the KO bros fights Haye (or ANY top 5 HW for that matter).

Is he going to fight Vitali now? I don't see that going well for him.

I heard Vitali-Haye was next. That'd be fun (and bad for Haye IMO).

Yeah, i think Vitali is a nightmare head to head, personally. Will make very good viewing though that fight, that is certain me thinks

Funny how everytime Vitali has stepped up to fight a top dog he has lost by stoppage. Wlad has been cleaning out the division since 2005, and takes on all comers. Vitali has done nothing since 2005 except beat a man wlad has already beat and stop a overweight 35 year old cruiserweight...

Bit of a simplistic way to look at things.

Wlad didn't even have to fight top dogs to get beat all over the ring.

This is true. The difference is Wlad is in his prime right now and has cleaned out the division the past 4 years, while Vitali is old past his prime semi retired fighter. Vitali does not stand a chance right now.

Touchy 0n this subject, why does me paying Vitali a compliment in your mind mean i am discrediting Wlad?

No wonder i had to repeatedly state in my thread about Wlad that i was NOT having a pop at him, with you lurking around with the Wlad chip heavily weighing down your shoulder. It's getting out of hand now SQ.
