Everybody has known it for some time.

He has been the best in the division for some time, beating up on the best challengers who dared to face him despite his chin issues.

He has been the only beltholder who ever had any intention of fighting the best available challengers in the divison.

He has been the only beltholder who ever had any intention of respecting the fans by turning up to fights in shape and willing to fight.

For a fighter with a boring style he sure has some fire in his liver. Fighters with more agresive styles and better chins have been more afraid to meet the best challengers.

Time to give him what he is long overdue and recognise him as the lineal champion.

I agree. What Wladimir has done since 2005, there is no way you cannot crown him Linear Champion. No way has Vitali done more than Wlad to deserve it. Wlad has some of the best technique skills movement i have ever seen in a man his size. If wlad starts opening up with his combinations again and gets his killer instinct back, no one will come close to beating him in the next 3 years.

BTW, Janitor you think we can finally put an end to the "Ruslan Chagaev top 5 in any decade" Talks LOL

Wladamir has earned his title and I dont care how boring his style is.

The man is prepared to fight a T rex with his boring style.

As for Chagaev I dont think we should kick him while he is down. He showed a lot of heart by taking this fight in his curent state when he might have forced a fight with Valuev later down the line.

He should walk away from this with some respect.

I appreciate his immaculate style. Fantastic, and at its best, unbeatable.

You would have been a big Jem Mace fan.

Of course in Mace's era not much else had been invented.

For this era, Yes. Joe Louis would knock Wlad out pretty devastatingly.

The way to beat Wlad is pressure. That's easier to say than actually do because he has a good jab and ATG right hand, but staying on the outside with him is slow, painful suicide. Quality midrange and inside fighters with toughness are the only fighters that have a chance against him.

agree. but wlad does have a underrated left hook and good combination punching muchmore...fighters lately just hadvnt pressured him enough to make him open up with it. Remember the ray austin left hooks?

Louis would knock most people out devastatingly ;)

Wlad is a very good fighter who if he can pick up some more wins may be looking at quite a legacy.

I'm as big a Louis fan as you could find but I'm not sure of this at all. Wlad has immaculate timing and sense of distance.

Great showing by WK, He is the top dog in the divsion at the movement imo. The heavyweight king to boot also.

Not sure what WK can do from here, outside of fighting his brother lol.

There relly is no one out there that can beat WK at the movement. I see a long rein ahead.

You also think ruslan chagaev beats rocky marciano, so even though I like you I am questioning your credibility right now. thats just a ridiculous statement.
