Wlad is already a greater champion than Mike Tyson.

Certainly not more popular, engaging, or electrifying. But greater. How ****ed up is that? (Yeah, this thread is about 50-percent flame, but oh well.)

I haven't seen anyone say that about Vlad yet, and if someone has said it, that person is a fool. Tyson is greater than Vlad, no doubt.

Still, Vlad is only one or two notches below Tyson, and that's saying something big about Vlad. Give credit where credit is due.

The thing is - if we take all the guys that Wlad has dominated, and pretend that he had knocked them out Tysons style, people would indeed be making this comparison. I've always felt in boxing that it's not how but what you do that is important.

I've Wlad can hold it together for another, say, 5 years without losing, this type of comparison will be absolutley fair.

No I won't....it's pointless making QOTW threads on the night of a WALDO win.

I'll save this one up for quote of the month, but I think he's actually taking the **** anyway :D

I don't think he'd need to do it for another 5 years in all seriousness. If he keeps winning for another 2-3 years it should be enough to overtake Tyson, who is at the bottom of most peoples top 10.

I still think had he actually fought when the likes of Holy, Lewis and Tyson himself were around then he wouldn't be able to do what he's doing, but as in all eras he can only beat what's available.

He will surpass Mike at that point..even in less time. Right now, based on resume. hell id have to review em to give a solid critique. My immediate response is Tyson all the way, but we'll have to look at title defenses and resume.

I'm certainly not a huge Klit fan, and am 50-percent taking the **** on this one, but it would indeed be an honor if this thread were a QOTW.

The problem is his losses. He has losses whilst he was younger, whilst he was still developing. Tyson is more devastating but he has those past-prime losses. I'd like to see Wlad close the blinds nice and strong and at length to crack the tens. Basically, to get into my ten he has to outshine Dempsey, Holyfield, Wills, Foreman. Those losses are troublesome to that end.
