Lee is similar to Pavlik in that he has undeniable strengths, good power, but is limited at the same time. Loew is clearly doing something right with Pavlik so I'm sure he could do something with Lee, but like someone else on here said it would be hard to get Andy away from Stewards grip. Oh btw what's the deal on a Lyell V Duddy rematch?
Loew and Lee would be a decent mix...that said, I think Lee and Steward have a real bond much closer than just yer typical fighter and trainer. Seems to be more than that at least. I guess it would be one hell of a messy split.
I have it on high authority that Andy Lee sparred with Jermain Taylor a while back and whupped his ass. Andy Lee trains pretty hard and he's always in great shape. He can punch and he has power. I don't see why with the proper training he cannot become a serious force. He has the talent. I didn't see tonight's fight.
Yeah Steward recently said that Andy has become one of his best friends, I think he has a strong bond with a lot of his fighters. Like a father and son type of thing!

ehh. Tom's good poster overall. That comment was a little "out of character" IMO, and he responded not so well. He's real good for info on fights/fighters from Germany and what not.
I think Tom had something in mind, he didn't articulate it as well as he meant to and the thing just sort of stumbled from there. He's a good guy overall.

I havent seen Andy in that light..I thought he was impressive before his loss which is what tuned me in. He has the skillset but really ****ed up the Vera fight.
I don't think he would be a bad choice of trainer for Lee as far as developing his talent goes etc but I don't know if Loew could train both Lee and Pavlik when they could be potential opponents one day.
