Jean Pascal vs Chad Dawson

I really think that Dawson would make Pascal look like an amateur again... would rather see Bute-Pascal in 12 months tops !!

 

Dawson UD pretty wide.

Pascal still makes many mistakes.

 

Maybe,maybe not.

Maybe Dawson hasn't had the situation to show his heart yet altough I thought he showed some against Johnson.

 

Not to take away from Pascal's performance, because it was a very good one, but Diaconu is a immobile piece of meat: slow, plodding, short, unskilled. Dawson is a completely different fighter and would likely overwhelm Pascal.

I'll pick Pascal by UD. I feel that Dawson has faced limited and past their prime fighters up to this point and he's got less power than Pascal. I see a really fast paced fight with Dawson going on the defensive and Pascal both outworking Dawson and beating him to the punch. I don't think Chad's ever looked as good as Pascal did today.

 

Yea Dawson is too much for Pascal at this point and im a big Pascal fan. Dawson showed heart against Johnson and hes a good fighter.

Btw man i like the fact that despite being a Diaconu fan youre not making excuses and are very realistic with your analyst.

Pascal vs. Cloud! This is an interesting match up. Provided Cloud hasn't gone rusty, I pick Cloud by KO. I'll also pick Cloud to beat Dawson by KO. Will this fight ever happen though???

 

I think it would be a great fight. Both guys work off of combinations. Pascal has blazing hand speed with his combination punches. Dawson is a bit more polished and more careful with his punch selection but he has weaknesses too.

But i still think Dawson wins either UD or KO. More tested. More polished. But with Pascal's wild style and Dawson's questionable chin, you never know. That's why it would be a great fight.

 

Great fight, but i be honest Pascal can make any fighter exciting. Anyhow - Dawson by Ud. Pascal is a good, slick fighter but he still has a lot to learn.

 

Hmm, that would be Dawson/Hopkins for the the Ring belt. :good
