Just heard that if pavlik deal stalls or a common ground cant be found very soon that mundine will take on bika.
Mundine said he realises bika would be a really tough fight, especially after he went 12 with calzaghe, but choc says all fights from geale onwards have to be a step up as im not getting any younger and these are my days.
Have to wait a bit longer to here if its official but all depends on pavlik deal.

    Wow.

I can still remember how much of a sure thing Sturm was :yep

Now he's offering Bika's name in case Pavlik doesn't come off :yep

How many people believe he's going to step up?

The more he says he's going to because he's getting on, etc, the less likely he is to do it.

Exactly the same as he said he always wanted to rematch Ottke , yet never once tried to put a deal together with him, then said he wanted another shot at Kessler, then when he was forced to fight him again by the WBA he **** himself and dropped down weights and came up with an excuse there's no money or interest in fighting Kessler again, yet went on for over a year fighting Argie cab drivers, yet still the couple of nuthuggers he has left still think he will fight a true world champ :rofl

Mundine would not beat Bika. he doesn't have the KO in him and Bika would overwhelm him with his workrate.

This would be a great fight, will attract lots of attention as both guys like to trash talk. But Mundine should only fight Bika at middleweight or at a catchweight as otherwise he should've fought Bika 12 months ago. I wonder if Sakio would be willing to drop weight.

Haven't seen Bika in a long time, but assuming he hasn't gone down hill too much, he'll give the present Mundine fits.

If this come off.. I'm not a betting man, but I'd be prepared to put coin on Bika beating Mundine.

Maybe I could head to the TAB and get a multi.. that he won't ever fight Pavlik and will get beaten by Bika?

Mundine will start favourite on TAB or any other sporting odds agency if this fight does come off. Don't expect him to trade like the geale fight, he will outpoint Bika unless Bika catches him with one of those unorthodox wild windmills.
