Wladimir is now the lineal champion. Give him credit for that.

The chamionship was vacant since Vitali went off injured. Wlad was number 1 ranked titlist and beat his next best ranked opponent, after his brother of course.

    In other words...

    Wlad hasn't unified the divsion.

    He isn't undisputed.

He didn't beat a linear champ.

IMO, Wlad isn't linear (and neither was Vitali).

He is NOT lineal. He might be The Ring champ (I disagree) and he just fought his career best fight, but he's NOT fought for the lineal title.

    End of thread.

He is not lineal, Vitali never was either. If the two of them fight then I'll be happy to call the winner the first champ of a new lineage but.....

What would you consider a fight for the lineal title? The only one that would carry that weight for me is Wlad v Vitali.

He beat the next best available contender. Anyone who expects brother older than about 13 to fight are ****ing ******s. Lets face facts, with WBA/WBC/IBF/WBO titles to unify, mandatory defences, super champions, interim champions and so on, we're probably never going to see an undisputed champion in any division again, and if we do it'll last about 15 seconds, so He's as close as we're going to get. Wladimir is clearly the champion of the division, many already said he was, now I don't see the point of nit picking about it.

Lineal is a bull****, myth anyways. Wlad is the true Champ of the division. None of that imaginary **** even matters.
