Stylistically Can We Agree Or Disagree That Margarito Was All Wrong For Cotto?

    Apart From The Whole Margarito Cheating Thing..... Can we agree or disagree with the fact that Margarito was completely wrong for cotto

    - Cast Iron Chin
    - A Lot Of Pressure
    - Actually Came In With A Good Game Plan ( Exploited Cotto's Lack Of Defense For Uppercuts)
    - Some Say Cotto isn't a 12 round Fighter

    I'd Like To Hear Everyone's Thoughts & Comments because it seems that the things Cotto struggles with are some of the things Margarito was able to exploit.

    well uppercuts are his kryptonite, and he is not the greatest fan of pressure fighters

    so margarito is about as tough a fight as he will ever face

    Yes, his style is all wrong for Cotto.

    Cotto likes to dictate the pace, anyone who can walk through his punches and keep throwing will give Cotto hell.

    Stylistically, he did present the blueprint on how to beat Cotto. That said, the victory will always be tainted so, IMO, the rematch has to happen at some point just to set the record straight. We will just never know if he did cheat against Cotto- that's it and all about it.

    Agree. As a Cotto fan I have been saying since the Torres fight that Cotto won't handle a pressure fighter well though I never expected someone as terrible as Margarito who was proven a cheater to get the job done. As long as you have a chin to handle his punches and stamina then that's more than enough to seriously trouble him.

    Agree: With Or Without Loaded Gloves? Margarito Presents A lot Of Problems For Cotto.

    Na man. Cotto was dancing rings around him. Cottos was fighting out of his skin rounds 1-6. Margo wasnt all wrong for him - he was just too ****ing tough and eventually Cotto ran out of gas and died on his feet. If his stamina had been better Cotto would have taken an easy decision

    yeah, I dunno if Margo has that same chin anymore though after all the poundings it's taken over the years it seemed like mosley finally cracked it last fight and it may never be the iron chin we're used to seeing which means cotto has a great shot in a rematch but if Margo's chin holds up I pick margo in a rematch.

    Cotto was winning the fight.Without plaster he would have won.

    But stylistically I agree Margarito is wrong for him,doesn't mean he'd win a fair fight.

    Ive always agreed with this... IT's not about Margarito loaded gloves.. It has nothing to do with the outcome...

    IT's just that Margarito has cotto's number... It's margarito's granite CHIN that won him the fight..
