I can't see Forrest Griffin seeing the end of the fight on his feet. No.

He will get knocked out. I'm sure of it. Yes, he has the size advantage, but Anderson is a pretty big guy himself.

The truth is that its not really the chin of Griffin who make me he will get knocked out, but his pillowhand. Anderson Silva has a good chin, Hendo clocked him with a big right hand, he didnt react. I don't see Silva respecting Griffin's power so the Spider will walk him down, and catch him and hurt him.

Griffin has only one scenario to win this fight. Take down Silva, and try to not being held up by the ref. If he is too long standing with Silva, he will get knocked out or knock down and finished there by the Spider. Griffin need to avoid any lazy leg kicks because Silva will catch one with a big right hand.

I really hope i'm wrong on all the line though. I want to see Forrest win this fight. I just think, its a very bad matchup for him. He blocks too many shot with his face, and Anderson Silva's accuracy is lethal.
At least the 3 rounds favour him, because in a 5 rounds, its sure as hell he wouldnt hear the ring bell. Anderson Silva is a much better striker than Rampage Jackson.

Silva, he is a better mt/kickboxer than Griffen.

And his ground game has world class defense.

If griffin decides to strike with silva which he probably would do then i can see silva winning by knockout. Ground game i give silva the edge also. I see silva winning this fight with a TKO-KO or decision.

Griff's ground game is enough to win this fight. His stand up game isn't. Griff is a big guy and if he gets on top of Silva it could stay there. It'll be different than smaller guys like Henderson and Lutter. He took Rampage down, held him down, and mounted him. I don't see why he couldn't do the same with Silva.

Silva will most likely win it though.

If Griffin fights 5 rounds at 185 pounds he will die.

I dont think Griffin has the KO Power or the Defense needed to Beat Anderson...Anderson all Day here and would be surprised if it went more then 3 Rounds

won't this be a 3 rounder because it is a 205 for no title?

The only reason that I'm purchasing this event is because Penn vs Florian is on it. I'm interested in any fight featuring Silva, but I am feeling no intrigue. This just seems to be a slaughter waiting to happen. Silva's striking precision and speed is just too much for Forrest to overcome. Forrest can hope to somehow take this to the ground and lose uneventfully at best. There is still a big threat that Griffin is spectacularly stopped there. I will be extremely, and pleasantly, surprised if this fight is in any way competitive.

I'd rather see W. Silva face Griffin.

Griffin doesn't have the skill or talent so he must impose his size. He size, strength and power are important. If he can impose himself he can win. Silva has the sort of skills to negate Griffin. Silva is also a big guy so he carrys the weight well. He looked good at 205.

I think Anderson is going to win, but I also thought Shogun and Rampage would destroy Griffin.
