I still think WW is the best weight class right now with 168 looking preety good and 135,140,122,126. Now with all this pacquiao stuff going on we will ever get this lineal crown out to the king anytime soon? Now if Pac-Cotto still goes down then it should be for Cottos belt because you can weight beteween 141- and 147 at the weight in and its a WW fight. but what about Mosley,Clottey and Berto?? Collazo still a top 10 WW in my eyes. I would kick out Quintana and Cintron for now and Mayweather and Williams as toss ups. so we have Cotto,Mosley,Clottey,Berto, to me thats are top 4 right now. I say Berto fights Collazo and get that out the weigh, dont know what Clottey is gonna do, and whats up with Mosley??

I dont know guys, this weight class is sick but with Pacquiao coming in and out we might never have a lineal champ in a long time. The only way I see it is if Pacquiao beats Cotto then fights Mosley but you know if Pacquiao beats Cotto, the only fight he wants will be Mayweather. Cotto-Mosley II can end this by this year but Arum is a greedy ******* trying to cash out on Cotto because he knows Cotto is gonna sign with golden Boy next year. what do you guys think about this weight class and the chance we get a lineal champ by next year?

you really think so? I think he fights Cotto then fights mayweather 2 times before its all over. that takes up almost the whole 2010 so the WW division is all jacked up right now.

I think Cotto beats pac then fights either mosley or pbf and loses.

I dont see Cotto winning but if he does then that could be the shot to get a WW king. Cotto-Mosley II would be huge, as long as its not a MSG :lol:

It's a pretty dead division outside of the top 5 with no up and coming prospects to really worry about or discuss. I'm not even sure if Floyd will fight in that division again as he could fight JMM and then Pac (both at what I like to call medium welterweight or super size lightweight) and retire.

So with no Floyd or Pac, you have Cotto, Mosley, Clottey, Berto and Margarito. I have a hard time seeing Williams return to the division especially since he won't get a fight against Top Rank.

It would be the best division if Pacquiao and JMM were willing to step up 3 extra lbs. As it is, you can't really include them. If we are talking about 143-147, you've then got Pac, JMM, Cotto, Mosley, Mayweather, Williams, Clottey and Berto.

well Pacquiao can and its a fact. just because theres a catch weight, that doesnt mean Cottos title is not on the line. as long as your between 141-147 then you can fight for the title. Cotto just came in 146 against Clottey and you think his title shouldnt been on the line?? Mayweather came to the weigh in at 150 for DLH and got his belt

The fight was AT the junior middleweight limit though so the title was on the line. I'm pretty sure if it's at a catchweight, no belts are on the line.
