I had cotto winning the fight 115-112, so I had him by 2 points but one extra cause of the knockdown. Whoever the judge was gave Cotto a 2 point round in round 6 when he dominated Clottey that round. So he gave Cotto two 2 point rounds. That's why that scorecard appeared so big. Everybody in here that knows how whole the scoring system works should of figured that one out. So whoever you thought won it, the jugde that had Cotto winning that big, originally had Cotto winning by 2 points. But the knockdown and round 6 were 2 point rounds that he awarded him. And Clottey did get outclass in that round, I don't care how many punches people claim he blocked, he also got hit with a lot of punches too.

That judge should be banned. How the hell do you give Cotto a 10-8 round in round 6th?? Clottey was just chillin in the corner and never got hurt, and was swiniging back with great accuracy. of course Cotto won that round buts its not 10-8, the judges are really bad these days...

He got dominated that round and he did buzz him a couple of times and add to the fact he was getting pounded majority of the round, that's how you got a 10-8.

I agree, the 10-8 round wasn't warranted there, but to me, it was pretty clear that Cotto won the fight, 115-112

    Isn't 116-111 just 8-4 Cotto + the KD?

this seems pretty decent compared to some of the scorecards we've been seeing recently.

No, 2 Two point rounds would give you that score. Because you add 1 point and deduct a point. So if you have 7-5, plus 2 two point rounds your gonna get 116-111.

Doesn't a 10-8 round where no KD occured mean that he got his ass kicked from ringpost to ringpost? Sure Cotto had Clottey on the ropes and got a some good shots in but it's clearly no a 10-8 round IMO.

He might of not had him out on his feet but he still was dominating him in that round where you could make the case it was 10-8. The same way Hopkins could of got a 10-8 round against Taylor in the first fight, even though Taylor fought back, he was getting dominated in those last 3 rounds.
