What are you talking about? Clottey never put Cotto down in that round or even buzzed him in round 6. He was fighting back towards the end but was still taking a pounding on the ropes. So no, i'm not saying you have to score it 10-8 but you can make an arguement for it because he got swamped that whole round.

Your right. :D I forgot about the 10 point must system. But still though, that judge still probably gave him a 10 point round.

And I hope I didn't sound like a dick there. I make arthimetical mistakes like that while I'm compiling my round scores sometimes.

No problem, I'll admit when i'm wrong. If you can't do that, than you can't swallow your pride. Which a real person should be able to do.

I gave an example of why you should NOT score those(Cotto-Clottey 6th round) kinds of rounds 10-8. Second, at no point in the fight did Cotto pound on Clottey even if it looked that way. The only 10-8 rounds should have been the first...period. What if one guy tries to hit the other guy but can't, and the guy who is winning the round is not landing the whole round, but is landing on the other guy. Should that be a 10-8 round? If a judge could make a case that the 6th round of Cotto-Clottey could be ruled 10-8 then Floyd-Gatti should have been 10-8 for almost every round in that fight.

People had a problem with the 116-111 scoring of Cotto-Clottey. Nobody thought Cotto won by 5 points...sorry!

It's simple n*gganometry: 116-111 Cotto is a bad scorecard because Clottey won the bout.

The round before he got stopped, you could say it was 10-8 in the Floyd/Gatti fight. You could also say that Hopkins/Taylor 1 could have been 10-8 in the later rounds.

Clottey by one point is correct. Any wider for Clottey is wrong...any score for Cotto is wrong. :good

    Just like JMM-Pac II.

Marquez by one point is correct. Any wider for Marquez is wrong...any score for Pac is wrong. :good

Nallege I had round 1 10-9 Cotto because I thought Clottey won the round but got knocked down, what did you score round 1?

10-8 for Floyd-Gatti yes, but not Hop-Taylor, and not Cotto-Clottey.

10-8. Clottey was not totally dominating the round, nor was he hurting Cotto in round 1.
