Your post does have some interesting points. That said, Floyd comes off as ignorant rather than flamboyant and petulant rather than a trash talker. His interview with Brian Kenney was a perfect example. He sounded so juvenile and deluded that any casual observer would consider him a buffoon.He actually thinks that he was the cash cow when he fought De La Hoya! That should tell you something. No one is denying his boxing greatness but rather his character as a man. There is a difference.

 

See the thing is with these folk. They dont see what they are doing. Which makes it all the more funny. They dont realize the difference between calling a fighter a bum for his style, whether it be slapping to running into punches or calling a guy a shitty person in general.

People hate on Floyd primarily because he acts like an arrogant *****. But the fact that he's an arrogant ***** that talks the talk but hasn't been walking the walk is what gives the hate so much more fuel so I don't think it's just the attitude that makes people hate him.
