Just for discussion amd poll. Don't forget to vote. Have you seen the two fights? Who came out better fighting one common opponent? Marquez or John? Do you want these to fighters (JMM and John) to fight in a rematch to settle once and for all? Who do you think will win?
I thought they both fared well against Juarez. Did you mean to ask who fared better? If so, I'd say JMM, if for no other reason than the fact that he was not robbed by the judges. :smoke
That's what I mean. Many believed that John was robbed of a decision against Juarez. Corollary question is who was blatantly robbed? Marquez against John or John against Juarez.
You're hard pressed to find a round that Juarez took off of JMM, so obviously JMM faired alot better against Juarez. I though Juarez fought John close, I dont remember my exact scorecard, but I believe I had John winning by a point.....but was of the thinking that a draw was OK. I have'nt seen anyone in forums like this note it......but the ring in which John fought Juarez in Texas, I believe led to the troubles he had with Rocky...... ......that was a very small ring that made it tough on the boxer to use his legs to angle his way out of harms way. John landed more on Juarez, but Juarez landed the more cleaner and effective blows in the fight. In another thread, its been mentioned that Chris John has pulled out of this saturday's rematch with Juarez at Staples.
I remember that Juarez got a gash on brow in that fight w/ Marquez. For that I alone, I credit Marquez as a clear winner. I did not finish viewing the John-Juarez as I fell asleep. It was a boring as John's fights get. I suspect fans are not buying another boring fight. Not again!
