thanks I think he is a rising star. If he works a a few little things he is going to be a great champion. I think he moved down to super-feather.

Such drivel, if Marg/Cotto or Sugar Shane were the big draws then Floyd would fight them, you say yourself he only fights for money. He isn't scared of anyone beating him, he is just so arrogant that he believes he can beat anyone so why fight anyone other then the person who can make him the most money? It's funny all this **** about Floyd but had he fought Pac man and not JMM nobody would have complained despite the fact some people (including me) think JMM was the better fighter and beat Pac.

Floyd will always be in a no-win situation with who ever he chooses to face because everyone around these weight classes is so hopelessly in love with 1 fighter or another on this forum, they will always complain Floyd ducked there fighter. So few people on these forums see it down the line and as much as it PAINS me to say it, Floyd is undoubtedly the best fighter of our generation, if he goes on to lose to Pac/Cotto or Shane in the future I will change my mind but like the old saying goes "to be the man, you've got to beat the man".

I think that Cotto sold more tickets for his fight with Clottey than Floyd did with Marquez. I also think that Margarito is a bigger draw than Floyd. You are full of it. Excuses, excuses! Basically you are saying is what I said it all about the money but you are too stupid to notice that and thus proove my other point that Floyd Haters are smart, honest, and rational.

Margarito despite the question mark due to his suspension would sell more tickets and ppv viewings than PBF. Thats why his fight with Marquez was cancelled becuase even the casino that was hosting it refused to save some tickets for its vips.

If Margarito is a bigger draw then Mayweather, show me where he's ever done more then 600,000 buys. How many times has he actually fought on pay per view. :rofl

Most of those buys were for the other guys...Oscar and Hatton...show me where he draws that amount regularly...and ifhe is such a big draw why not promote himself....

So you are saying most of those buys were because of Hatton, even though Hatton never had a major pay per view until he fought Floyd, and De La Hoya even when fighting the Pound for pound number 1, Felix Trinidad, who had a whole country backing him, he didnt do near the numbers Floyd did. You think Margarito would have matched Floyds numbers with Hatton and DLH?

Sorry the boxing community knows the difference between masters of their craft, and cheating scrubs like Margarito. What did Margarito vs Cotto do? 500,000 at best? Please. Floyd was doing close to that against Baldomir and Zab Judah.

I am saying what you were saying, Floyd DOES fight for the money, problem is the fight he is now in, is getting such negative PR from people who write off JMM because of his size. I am not excusing the fact Floyd fights for money, there is just no reason for him to fight for anything else, as much as I like JMM it is obviously a warm up fight for PBF and to take on such a highly ranked fighter as a warm up to me is something to be praised.

He will fight the Pac/Cotto winner imo and then call it a day, finally putting a silence to all people who can claim he ducked anyone. Marg has been found out and doesn't even register on my radar as anything but a complete cheat, so I don't really care if he ducked Marg or not. The fact is, until someone beats Floyd Mayweather Jnr he is the best current boxer in the world, we all knew he hadn't retired after he beat Hatton and we all knew he'd wait for a contender to rise up and give him a pay day. He did the perfect thing to get more money for the inevitable Manny/PBF fight, pull away from the lime light, watch Manny rise to the top where people legit believe (I'm one of them) Manny could beat PBF. He puts himself in the bad guy position taking a "lesser" fighter in his first fight back. Pac/PBF fight will happen and the fight will make MEGA bucks and to me, it's all a plan to make lots of money.

By close to you mean less than 500,000 so you proove me right thanks.

Also if Cotto or Margarito can sell 500k do you believe that if PBF fought them the fights would not sell 600k.

I read what you said but answer me why did he fail to sell tickets against Marquez?

-If Floyd fought Cotto it'd do 800,000 easy. Margarito's best fights were against Mosley and Cotto. Only one of them was pay per view, and he did an average sum in the other. Meanwhile Floyds biggest fights, DLH and Hatton were the most lucrative fights this decade/.

    So whats your excuse?

Sorry I see no proof that the Floyd vs Marquez fight wasnt selling tickets. Pacquiao vs Hatton didnt sell out till the last week. What matters is pay per view numbers, and I bet it does better then Margarito vs Cotto.
