Hatton is smaller than Mayweather. It took 8 rounds for Mayweather to stop Hatton.
Pacman is smaller than Hatton. It took two rounds for pacman to stop Hatton.
Against DLH, Mayweather got a split decision victory while Pacman
dominated DLH completely and defeated him by TKO.

Pacman a small fighter who started boxing at 110 pounds, have proved that Mayweather`s accomplisment is nothing that can`t be surpassed by another good boxer. If DLH, Moseley and Trinidad, had stayed away from big opponents such as Hopkins, Roy Jones, winky Wright and others, they would have remained undefeated the way Mayweather is. In my opinion, Mayweather is a shame for boxing since he claims to be the best in boxing history while staying away from real challenges. His biggest challenge was against DLH. This fight was decided on a split decision. Later Mayweather backed out from a rematch after having called for it. It is hard for a boxer to gain respect when acting like a coward. Pacman is an example of a real warrior as opposed to Mayweather. Do you agree ?

hmm says... oh gawd, here we go again.

well besides DLH being drained... they are both not good against southpaws.

    I stopped reading here.

It took Mayweather 10 rds to beat Hatton, you probably havent seen the fight, fair enough but at least put in the effort to look this **** up if your going to do a thread about it.

Ps. Mayweather is a FAR better boxer than Pacquiao, wake up.

    :patsch

    OK here are the facts:
Hatton came up from his comfort zone at 140 to fight Mayweather at 147.

It still took Mayweather 10 rounds to KO Hatton.

Pacquiao destroyed Hatton in 2 rounds at 140, where Hatton was most comfortable and the King.

both are efficient, they just have different plans towards their respective fights. against hatton, i think pbf's plan was to outbox hatton, while pac's was to go for an early KO.

Im not disagreeing with that but it doesnt make Pac a better boxer than Mayweather, more exciting perhaps but not necessarily better boxer + the guy said FMJ beat Hatton in 8 rds, I mean c`mom, thats amateur schoolboy **** right there.

    Ali struggled with Frazier
    Foreman destroyed Fraizer twice

Hopkins went all 12 rounds with Joppy
    Trinidad KTFO of Joppy

styles make fights, of course a big puncher gets an earlier stoppage than a slick defensive boxer that doesnt mean the puncher is better:deal

The facts clearly shows Pacquiao as the most exciting fighter but not necessarily better than PBF. That score can only be settled in the ring. Kudos to Pacquiao for boosting boxing during these times where you have boring Klitschko, a clown Floyd, a reserve Marquez, etc, etc. Gone are the days of the articulate De La Hoya, machinegun Ali, staccato Frazier, fear-stoking Foreman, etc, etc.

I agree, but Marquez is becoming more exciting in the ring. He doesnt really have charisma per se in interviews but he has been more aggressive and going for the KO these days.

More efficient in terms of rounds taken to beat common opposition? Okay.

More efficient in terms of minimizing wasted motion in the ring (a truer sense of the term)? No.
