Was Lewis safety first vs Briggs, Holyfield Rematch, Mercer, Grant, Rahman rematch, Vitali?

The Holyfield rematch was a stinker just like the first fight was. It was boring. Holyfield was the only one trying to engage in both fights Lennox was content on jabbing and clinching/holding for most of the fight.

Well Lewis was knocked cold twice but then again he has taken some far bigger bombs from Wlad and not been down.

He took some MONSTER shots from Vitali and while he was hurt, he never went down.

I'd say Lewis and it's not really up for debate.

^^^^That clearly shows you didn't watch the rematch cause Lewis hardly did any jabs in the rematch. Lewis was mostly slugging out with Holyfield in the rematch. Even Foreman said in the rematch that Lewis has forgot about the jab.

He wasn't knock out cold twice cause vs Mccall he got back up but the ref stop the fight. But your right cause Lewis has taken far bigger bombs then Wlad did in which thats a clear fact.

I watch the fight and i remember clearly that Lewis didn't use much of the jab in that rematch. He clearly was landing uppercuts, straight right most of the time.

It was a boring fight but not as boring as the first one. Lewis clinched/held every time Holyfield got close to him. It was a boring fight but a clear Lewis victory and I am a Holyfield fan.

Wlad has never taken the shots to the chin that Lewis did.

I think Lewis by a ton.

Lewis - good chin. thought it got tougher as he aged. Seemed less affected by big punches.

Wlad- average chin. been down 11 times but he's had 56 fights. if his chin is made of glass, it didn't break when Chagaev landed that blind cheapshot. Wlad also took some heavy punches from Peter and didn't go down. It was the rabbit punches that dropped him :yep

That was what I thought too but actually if you watch it again, the first fight was far more entertaining than the rematch. There was a point in the first fight that Lewis was just punishing the poor Holyfield.
