Mosley "They actually believe I'm going to fight Clottey, Berto, or Paul Williams?"

I don't dispute that Shane deserves a big-money fight but does he plan to just sit on the sidelines if he can't get Floyd or Pac?

I think Williams promoter recently said he'd be willing to give Shane more money than he's earned from a fight in 2 and 1/2 years - and although this wouldn't be a mega-fight, it would still be pretty big and who wouldn't want to watch it?

Shane, quite rightly, has earned a reputation as a guy who'll fight anyone - if he can make good money fighting Williams, who's on most peoples P4P list, what's the justification for not facing him?

Even for a guy like Shane, is the fact that Williams would be an awkward, tough fight really a good enough excuse?

 

Yeah, Shane deserves a fight with either Pacman or Fraud !!! Don't give up Shane!!

 

Mosley is old and on the brink of retiring. He wants 1 or 2 more megafights and he deserves it.


How can anyone say Cotto deserves a Pac fight more than Mosley?

Cotto struggled and was lucky to get a split decision against clottey but Mosley has a huge upset win and domination over Margo.

While I agree with Shane, he needs to analyze his options. Let's see what can his golden friend do for him. Otherwise, he will have to retire. Because the guys at the top don't want to fight him. The only one might be Cotto if he beats Pacquiao.

 

**** Mosley, that ***** is killing his legacy with the crying and cowardice he is showing. Fight Paul Williams or Clottey, make your name bigger and cash out. If he didn't spend his whole career with all that **** about being a "mexican fighter" maybe black Americans would love him like they love Winky and Floyd and would pay to watch him fight.

 

Mayweather should just fight shane and the winner fights the Cotto vs. Pac winner!

Mosley-RJJ would probably pull in more than Mosley-Pac or Mosley-FMJ, if money's the criteria. And I'd give Shane a puncher's chance against Roy. :think

 

Huge upset? Lol come on. Mosley dominating Margarito wasn't a huge upset win cause Mosley wasn't a huge underdog.

I support Mosley in this. He is a veteran, has put in his dues, and he should only be looking for mega fights, it's what every great fighters works for.

He should be rematching Cotto Avenge a loss, Beat the other top welterweight out there and give himself more leverage for a fight with Mayweather/Pacquiao.I said this after Cotto beat Clottey but many said this wouldnt be the right fight.

 

I can't believe most people here are giving Mosley a by pass cause he believes he deserves big fights like Pacquiao and Mayweather and won't fight fighters like Paul Williams. Does Mosley have a lost memory? Cause Williams already beat Margarito way before Mosley did. Mosley act like he's never been in a big fights before cause he has with De la hoya twice and the Cotto fight. And if Mosley is looking for big money fights then Williams promoter already made it clear that Mosley will get more money fighting Williams then Mosley's last 2 fights so Mosley got no excuses this time of not fighting Williams.

 

can you imagine being written off as a nobody after moving up in weight when you didnt have to, and fighting winky. can you imagine coming back from that and taking on the likes of collazo and margarito in the most deep division in boxing. can you imagine winning those fights, becoming the undisputed champ, and not getting a shot with manny because the promoter wants to double dip? i can. its called boxing.
