This is not about who deserve the fight, they both deserve this fight but PACQUIAO-COTTO is much bigger fight than MOSLEY VS PACQUIAO i like mosley is a great fighter but is not even than popular in "black america" I think Mayweather has a bigger fan base within african americans

He did. Mayweather said he wanted 20 million and that squashed it.

I love Shane and I agree with you 100%. He needs to get busy. Unfortuantely for him he doesn't have the luxury to be waiting a lot of time for PAC to fight him. If by any chance the negotiations between PAC and Cotto fails I would expect for Shane to have his rematch against Cotto as Floyd would probably end up fighting PAC if he can get out of the JMM fight.

Honestly, I hate this side of our sport. The best should fight the best without any excuse like in many of the other sports. In this regards Boxing is no different than the WWE as the fights are picked and not necesarily you have a clear view of who's the best. Like it or not, that's what we loved about the Middleweight Tournament Don King put together in the late 90's. The best fighting the best and having a clear and undisputed champion.

In principle, I agree with Mosley, but boxing is a cash business, and he's not the cash cow. He doesn't have the power to dictate the terms of who he fights. If he doesn't face a Clottey, Berto or Williams, he'll be sitting on his ass for a long time, because Floyd isn't going to face him for at least a year, and Pac isn't going to face him for at least a year, and Cotto isn't going to rematch him for at least a year - they're all tied up. Who the hell else is a draw that he could fight? He'd make more money fighting Williams than anyone else who's legitimately available.

If I was Shane I would fight Berto for the strap and some $$$... Clottey & Williams are very tough and will bring a high risk low reward for him. Berto brings a low risk and high reward as he gets a strap and beats a young lion.

Damn. And I always looked at Shane as a warrior. Now he shows his other side. if you are considered one of the best and don't want to fight the best. What's the point?

I hear people saying this is a business. But it is a combat sport first and foremost and with any sport you compete to be the best. If you're just fighting or playing for money time to quit.

he is a ***** imo... this guy comes up with a million and 1 reasons to not fight anyone except for floyd or pacman... is he really this desperate to be in the spot light

he wont see pacman or floyd for another 12 months... and thats the minimum

so are you trying to sit here and tell me that shane should just sit around and wait for either of them? pacman might retire after cotto and floyd is going str8 to pacman after/if he beats jmm... so what the **** is this ***** really ****ign thinking..

he will get 1-3 million ATLEAST by fighting berto... is he too good for that kind of money? not only that but hell spank bertos ass real easily... and yeah he COULD lose ... BUT I DOUBT IT!... shane is just being a money hungry ***** and im tired of everyone co-signing it.... all im saying is this guy might as welll stay ****ing busy between the period of what floyd is doing because lets be real with one another... he aint seeing pacman under any circumstances.. becaue if pacman beats floyd he will retire.. thats for damn sure
