    Dude, giving fades is no rocket science, sureit takes practice, but once you master the backwards mirror, it's as easy as tying your shoe lace. I gave myself fades for about 7 years.

    bro, i've been cutting my hair since i was 10...and i aint gonne lie, i did have the whole tank abbott thing going for about a year, but then i learned to master the fade....it's actually easier to cut my own hair then it is to cut others.......:deal:deal:deal

    I agree :good I have an easier time fading my hair than my friends, I take about 25-40 minutes, depending on my mood.

    And the back of my head is easier to fade than the sides.

    Trial and error bro. First you master the fade using your son, brothers and friends as pawns, then you master the backwards mirror.

    A couple times I've dropped my hand mirror and broken it and I've used my wife's compact mirror and a CD to fade the back.
