It seems to me that too many boxers put an end to their careers once they reach the end of the tunnel and they can't get through the two exits because they are closed by one of the Klitschkos. Too bad. I would love to see Chagaev continue his career, and Rahman, Ibragimov, and Gomez also. These are decent boxers and can serve well in giving challenges to upcomming prospects before they get their shot at the brothers.

A few other fighters that seem to have disappeared, although no thanks from Klitschkos, that I would like to see continue their career:

    Platov
    Virchis

Do you know anything of these boxers? And, what are your views:

Rahman was shot ages ago. Imbraimov has lost to numerous opponents and is probably still in a coma from the Klistchko fight - just like the rest of the audience. Thompson's performace was a disgrace, good on Wlad for battering him. No idea about Gomez but I'm sure Chagaev will be back.

I do agree the k-bros are TOTALLY DOMINANT at the moment.

All of the fighters mentioned should consider giving up boxing. The only one of the lot worth anything was Rahman, and he was finished long before he got to Klitschko.
I suppose some might say Ibragimov was okay, but after viewing his fights with Holyfield, Briggs and Klitschko, he guy is basically a sleeping pill. He was as suckish as anyone else.

Good riddance to rubbish boxers I say!

    Rahman was donne before Wlad.

    About the others:

Ibragimov: got rich fighting Wlad and gave up. no love for the sport.

Chagaev: got payed bigtime for the first time in his career. He has some legit health problems, his feel for the sport is unknown. It remains to be seen what he will do from now on, but he is just 30 years old, could definetelly still have several more fights.

Gomez: ****ed up head, loves to hurt himself and his career, took too long to challenge for the HW belt and got there past his prime. He could still do some fighting but doubt he will go anywhere.

im sure ibragimov will stick around as a gatekeeper.

also, when you think about it, once youve fought one of the k-bros, who are you supposed to fight? those 2 are the only one that can get you paid right now, so as a prizefighter, whats the point?

Iggy said he would retire before Wlad. He just managed to cash out nicely before retiring. He said something like "My mother doesn't want me to fight so I'm going to retire soon."

As per Rahman and Gomez, If Wlad and Vitali put them away then we owe them a gigantic nod of approval.

A detached retina helped that. I believe he got it against Eddie Chambers.
