    Povetkin is up against it for sure but at least he'll come forward and test Wlad in that way. It could be a slaughter but Povetkin is very determined and skilled inside fighter. It could be a tough fight if Povetkin has an iron chin and will.

    How is Povetkin not a bum? That's a much more difficult question to answer.

    The guy has a chin....maybe.

    It's hard to say considering his best opponent was Chambers who doesn't come to knock you out.

    Povetkin comes foward in straight lines, has no head movement, is very predictable and monotonous with his combinations, doesn't appear to be able to fight off the back foot, and has limited power.

    What do you see in this guy?

    I see a Margarito type of fighter to be honest.

    Alexander Povetkin is one of the most decorated amateur heavies of all-time, and a far more proven HW than David Haye, and I can even admit that as a Brit.

    You're an idiot pure and simple. You Bash Wlad for saying he could have wait for Haye to fight in july 11 ? but yet Haye lie and say he'll be ready by july 25? Oh wait that was wrong it was in september. Why should wlad wait all the way to sept to fight Haye? That would be a long inactive for wlad. And also the ticket sells in germany stadiam in which the fans pay hard earn money. Why should they have to suffer for the fight being cancel? You don't like Povetkin but he earn his title shot while Haye hasn't done jack **** to earn a title shot in the heavyweight division. Who Has Haye beat in the heavyweight division to prove he has a shot to beat either Klits brothers? Tko shot Barrett who in his prime lost by tko to Wlad? And lost by tko to Valuev?

    Man, Chagaev has WAY better headmovement that stand in front of you, has lead feet, Povetkin.

    He will not TEST Wlad at all.

    He won't get on the inside. He'll be blasted far worse than Chagaev was. Klitschko could easily commit to his punches because the guy doesn't move his head, and he has even less power than Chagaev.

    How is this guy possibly a threat?

    Klitschko is his worst nightmare. Povetkin would be destroyed, I'm talkin about career ending type of fight for this guy, because he does appear to be tough...

    But that's it...

    Another idiotic post. By telling him to get in line Wladimir is doing him a favor, he's giving him a chance to have a fight before getting this one especially after his injuries. No one wants "Too early/rushed" excuses when the fight is over with. :deal

    Please ya'll, stop with this ****in amateur nonsense bull****.

    3 or 4, 2 minute rounds with head gear DOES NOT equate to the pros.

    Chagaev was a decorated amateur, and so was Ibriganov.



    Chagaev and Povetkin are somewhat similiar in the sense that they both have amateur styles, but Chagaev can at least move his head.

    The pros are COMPLETELY different from the amateurs.

    Ibriganov won a silver medal, and out of those three, he's the only mother ****er with a style suited to the pros, but he's just a poor athlete, and he's been fighting like he wants to pick up a paycheck.

    But Povetkin and Chagaev are excellent matchups for Klitschko because they're easy to hit, and have limited skills in the sense that their style doesn't transition very well to the pros.

    but you're not dealing with reality. Wlad/Povetkin is on for the Fall. He's the mando for the IBF. case close. wlad loves his belts and always has fought his madatories. so to say wlad is ducking haye is just ludacris. it's possible povetkin pulls out of the fight then maybe Haye comes back into the picture. just wait and see. nothing has been set yet. you should really stop making these type of threads though - even the Haye fans here know the reality of the situation.

    Chambers ain't ****.

    Barret may be finished, but really it's hard to say if Chambers is better than Barret.

    To be honest, I would go out on a limb and say he's not. Chambers is a bloated Tony Tubbs movin mother ****er that has a low workrate in what I think is **** defense, especially for a heavyweight.

    Who's talking about match-ups? The point is Povetkin won an IBF elimination tournament beating Chris Byrd & Eddie Chambers - more than Haye has done at HW - and therefore he EARNED his shot.
