Pascal v Diaconu .... what a FIGHT!

Yes there is a rematch clause.

And also Interbox gets to copromote Pascal's next 3 fights.

 

Pascal would be very promotable around the world if he wins his next couple of fights. He's a self-loving loud mouth, but he stays within the realm of the acceptable. He hardly goes negative on his opponents. He's got big balls in the ring, takes risks. He's very quick fisted, has a good (not great) chin. Recoups very fast when hurt. I'm not gay but he's far from ugly.

Really good fight. They both showed great courage and heart and it looks like in his last two fights, Pascal found some chin booster. But i still believe Dawson, Hopkins, Johnson, Bute and Kessler would beat them. IMO.

Next for Pascal is Branco and then rematch with DIaconu. It's all already set.

it was the kind of fight that made one proud to be a boxing fan. I just cassually tuned in for it without expecting the treat I was about to expirience. It was excellent :good

EDIT: Come to think about it, it was a similar exp. to seeing the Adamek Cunningham fight on the very same network. Very good job so far.

 

I can tell you here that in Montreal the city really stopped last friday. All eyes on the fight. Was a fantastic fight, Pascal did an awesome promotion with his mouth - hopefully he continues because he is great for boxing.

Great fight no doubt one of the best of the year. Both men should be proud. Pascal is good for boxing like others said he has personality and is exciting to watch. Dawson-Pascal would be a great fight and should be made early next year possibly even in Canada. I say Canada because Dawson said he would go to Canada to fight the Shark but they wanted to fight in Romania and Dawson declined. Montreal is a great fight town and the fight would sell out and have a lively atmosphere.

 

Great fight but this prove again that Diaconu was nothing special in which is very laughable that many people say Dawson is afraid to fight Diaconu. Dawson is clearly a better fighter then Pascal and 10 times better maybe 15 times better then Diaconu.

 

I like how pascal goes into these big fights prepared to go to war. He never lets the other guy take advantage in the fight for long and always fires back. His chin is good enough to stop him getting knocked down or seriously hurt but he can be stunned occasionally which is exciting.

Sometimes pascal completely sells out on shots, like hes trying to knock his opponent into the third row. The similarities with roy jones are there, except pascal doesnt have that level of quickness which made jones an ATG, but it does appear that he has the better chin, which means he can go hell for leather with any opponent (even though he doesnt need to most of the time due to his reflexes). Plus the trashtalking is entertaining (miranda fight was hilarious).

 

The Miranda trash talk was all fake.. there's plenty of pictures around with Pascal and Miranda chilling together at a WBC convention in Puerto Rico.

 

Plus they never got into the ring.

But it was beter that way for Pascal.
