What does the Pascal win at 175 mean for Froch?

As a result of Pascal's victory Froch's stock has obviously arisen.

He now has potential foes for 160 to 175.

    All roads lead for Froch

It Shows Pascal is World Class not P4P but up there with the like of Andre Berto championship level.

Not suprised as Pascal was an excellent afighter before he turned pro.

What has suprised me is his punch resistance, he gets shook up and fights right back like an animal....thats called will and ambition.

He looks an excellent physical specimen and has excellent hand eye coordination.....not the finished article by any stretch but will definately grow into a very good champ...hes only 26!!

Froch should be regarded as the NR:1 Super middle his 2 recent wins are far more credible than the wins of the other champs.

It doesn't mean that much...Froch, Pascal and Diaconu would all lose to top 168 and 175 guys.

I agree with this, and yet, at the same time I moved Froch from the paper titlist category to the legit champion category.

Pascals win does alot of Froch's legacy. I was telling people he was world class before this, but everyone looked down on pascal :huh

anyway, Froch is really closing in on calzaghes legacy. 2 or 3 good more wins and hes above joe for me. If he beats bute, kessler, and grabs a belt at 175. Hes defintly a better fighter then calzaghe and hopfully can bring him out of retirment. Looks like forch is finished with euro bums

It cements him as a legitimate champion in the 168lbers. He now has two good wins over very good fighters.

    WHatever...

If you don't think Bute is a VERY good fighter i suggest you watch some boxing.

Also, sorry i didn't read the ESB rule saying you have to put the guy who you think is the best figther of all time in your avatar.

That being said, i would bet on BUte over Pascal, Froch and DIaconu.
If one of these fights happen and Bute loses, i'll be here ready to eat my crow and give props to the winner. WHat about you guys?
You'll probably be here complaining and bitching like the real experts you are. :smooch

Their fight was a very close fight. In my mind it means everything and nothing as I thought their fight was very close, and that either man could've won. Froch was relieved that he won. Froch-Pascal was that close.

    :patsch

I like Froch and I think he'd beat Bute - but he won't beat Kessler who is a better boxer, puncher and has much better pedigree. In short, he's just better - Kessler would stop Jermain Taylor inside 8. As for Froch being above Calzaghe after a couple of good wins - really? You sure?

It means that Carl Froch is the truth and not some unskilled bum that haters make him out to be.
I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch but I don't think Froch wants to move up and I don't see Pascal moving back down.
