I never denounced him for Mayweather. He wasn't as good a win as he could of been but WAY better than Cotto's.

Baldomir did what no one else besides Judah had done in the division and that was become the man and lineal champion of the division.

You cant dispute that. Plus everyone was wanting Floyd to fight Baldomir.

Besides Margarito Mosley nor Cotto were available at 147. So yes it was a good win for Mayweather. Better than Quintana and Judah for Cotto.

Im going to need to watch the fight. Maybe after I am done what I am doing Ill sit down and watch it. I like to watch Cotto. He's kind of like Wlad of the WW division. Great talent but the chin is iffy.

Baldomir was a weak champion. If you what to rest your case that Floyd is more accomplished than Cotto as a welter based on his win over Baldomir then that only tells me that your not being objective and thus your opinions lose credibility.

Im not saying he is more accomplished but it's close with Cotto edging it.

Floyds had 4 fights. Cotto's had 8 fights. The fact that it's debatable is funny.

It really isn't debatable. That fact that people will debate it is funny.

Gray smoke spewing, headlight missing, purple tint havin, multi colored fenders, ass smelling, bondo all over, two dice havin (no wait thats Freddy-Wak) crooked steering wheel...........

For the record, I could care less the amount of credit Cotto receives - the man goes out there and does what he needs to do, gives his best, displays a great amount of heart and toughness, brings excitement and like Braveheart said in another thread: "He'll beat u up and have a cup of ice cream with you afterwards". :deal Peace ESB, gotta get back to work :smoke

Thats because Cotto actually takes the risk of fighting the elite in the WW division. He should receive much credit for that alone these days considering the amount of ducking/dodging that goes on.

Good point? Who else besides Margarito did you want Floyd to fight at 147?

He was the best the division had to offer at that point.
