Awesome avatar, guys like Eddie Futch, Nazim Richardson, and Emmanuel Steward have nothing on the great Stoney.

EXACTLY. It's what got Ruiz his undeserved ranking - and special treatment for his illegal tactics - in the first place.:yep

So the division is not ****?

All you have to do is look at the current fighters and "prospects" and ****ing tell me the division is not ****.
I know the K bros are elite, but they are the only good fighters in the division, and they won't fight each other.

if all of boxing was like the heavyweight division.....boxing would be in dire straits, from a financial perspective......that should tell you something how bad this division sucks...

Stoney is a low class POS

I give Ruiz alot of respect.. to be that bad and be in the top ten for so long takes alot (of blow jobs) I mean seriously even in his prime he got gift decisions in bull**** fights... Ruiz for years was the definition of what is wrong with boxing and a large part of that is Don King...he is the boxing anti-christ...

Indeed. Ruiz is the poster child for boxing corruption. His whole misbegotten career is a Don King-created fraud.:yep

I obviously can't speak for anyone else here but he beat Holyfield pretty straight in their rematch in my eyes.

So does that make him a world champion? I don't think so.Some do believe he was a champion. Holyfeld just lost his belts to Lewis and Don King manages somehow to sneak out the back door with a belt for Holyfeld and Ruiz to fight for. That is a joke. Lewis was the champion not Don King and his stoges Byrd and Ruiz. Without King Ruiz will never wear a belt. Ruiz did however beat Holyfeld clearly in their first rematch almost knocked him out.
