Well, here's a random list of 'top 10' heavyweights I found with a quick google

    1. Wladimir Klitschko Next: June 20 vs. Ruslan Chagaev
    2. Vitali Klitschko
    3. Ruslan Chagaev Next: June 20 vs. Wladimir Klitschko
    4. Alexander Povetkin
    5. Nicolay Valuev
    6. Chris Arreola
    7. Oleg Maskaev
    8. Sultan Ibragimov
    9. David Haye
    10. John Ruiz

Obviously the distinction of being a top 10 heavyweight doesn't mean much these days, but I think the likes of Jean Marc Mormeck would be competitive with atleast half these guys, and I think the hack Haye knocked out in his 1st heavyweight fight was ranked 11th by one of the sanctioning bodies, so don't tell me he wouldn't beat most of these guys, because that's a joke.

And what will you say when Vitali knocks Haye out? Vitali would love to fight Haye, he can't wait, it's up to Haye now. Haye could have fought Vlad, but he chickened out. Vlad signed to fight Haye, a voluntary fight, but Haye blew it, "El Pollo" he is called in Mexico.

If Vitali were to knock Haye out, I'm fairly certain I would say "Wow, that was a great fight!" which can't be said for most of the klitschko fights. Anyways . . .

Everyone has the right "fight plan" for Wlad, they are simply not good enough to carry it out. No HW is, not this year, not next year, not for a few years. Its going to take a truly remarkable fighter with ATG competitive skills to beat Wlad at this point.

He didn't have a good plan, he didn't try hard enought to stay on the inside or use lateral movement to stay out of range. He was right in front of Wlad and within punching range pretty much the whole fight. He used head movement but it didn't help him much because he wasn't aggressive and fast enough to get to Wlad.

Chagaev did what he was suppose to do..... I am a southpaw, but not a true heavyweight at all........... Still, all in all, Chagaev did what I would've tried to do..... Chagaev got low and tried to jab his way in on Klit so he could go to the body...... It didn't work against a cagey guy who now fights like a Cobra from the outside...... Had Chagaev stepped in more on Klit, he would've been battered to a pulp by round 6....... Chagaev tried hard, but was simply out-classed by a bigger and better man........ Nuff said...

yeah keep punchin him in the arm, 4 or 5 roundz

    oh my

    help me

  9. Chag was awful if he is the number 3 HW in the world then we are in heaps of trouble

He has no speed, no power, no elusiveness, He has a very average amatuer style, his bobbing and weaving AFTER he has just got hit was hilarious, and his gaurd was a joke. Wlad just hit straight thru it every time, Chag may have just kept his hands down the whole fight

I think so too. Quite a number of times he was in a position to throw punches to Wlad's head when he was on the inside, but he just didn't had the talent and/or speed to execute it imo.
It also seemed as there was some fire (in his heart) missing from Chagaev.

He was at the right range, too. I got quite excited in the first half of the fight because despite losing, I thought Chagaev was at the absolutley right range - he wasn't running or back-sliding. Then he started to retreat and Wlad closed the blinds in the 8th.

Chagaev beat Ruiz. Watch the fights before you comment on them.

He is just trying to discredit to make Wlad look bad, how Original. ****ing douche...:patsch:rofl

IMO he should have tried little harder thou. But it was all about Wlad's great performance, keeping the distance with Jab and couple of thundering right hands to remembering Chag and Wlad's Great footwork. You just dont go inside like that with out eating some leather. I wish Steward would tell Wlad to use Uppercuts.

Disagree with, it's not bobbing and weaving undearneath and away from a long left lead that makes it for itself... It should be the way to break his jab and hit him clean with a second punch but even tho he was called the "White Tyson", man, the guy doesn't let his hands fly in combinations like Tyson did against Holmes and Tucker!

No he didn't. The right plan is the one that worked. Sanders charged him, leaving him no punching room, and Wlad had no answer. Brewster did the same and won. If you play defense with Wlad, you lose because he is skillful and more powerful than any other HW (besides Vitali).
