Pac grew into his frame and body. He's a natural LWW just like Mayweather is.



Mayweather also put on muscle when he moved up as well.

At 130. Mayweather was only 136/137.

At 135 he was still 138!

At 140 He he added weight to his body to hit 145.

So I could easily argue that had Mayweather not added weight he could fight at 130/135 still.

and floydettes seem to be justifying pbf's choice of opponents lately that they are actually same size or bigger than pbf.

pbf has fought as high as 154.
jmm. last fight was at 135.
hatton. clearly a legit 140.
pac. clearly a legit 140.

the only reason why people think jmm and pac should fight at 147 is because of their extraordinary skill. but lets not lose sight of the fact that these are not true welters.

there is a reason why we have weight classes. if pbf truly is comfortable fighting at 140, he should have done so against jmm. clearly, he would have difficulties going as low as 140.

For the Hatton fight.

Hatton tried to pack on extra weight against Collazo and weighed 160.

He went back down, lost the weight. When he fought Mayweather he weighed 154. He weighs 152-154 at Jr WW.

Floyd was in the drivers seat and was being challenged. Why go down for someone who challenged you?

If you would of actually the topic you can clearly see in the first reply I said Mayweather is slightly bigger, which he is bigger but it's not a lot.

It's not Paul Williams compared to Mayweather size difference.


Hatton and Mayweather are equal in size. And Pacquaio looked just as big as Hatton. Slightly smaller but close.
