The fact is actually DID things that made him lauded as much as he is today. In my view he is legit and proven until proven otherwise - sometimes boxing fans tend to over think and would assume that they knew better.

I personally think that the comparison between Hatton-Floyd and Pac-Floyd are not correct. First Floyd is a slick boxer and it's normal to take him more time to finish an opponent than a puncher boxer like Pac. Also Hatton was an undefeated fighter and fresher fighter in the first fight. And Pac gained 10lb for the Hatton fight!!!. Not 2-3. That said I'm not a Floyd fan. For me is also very difficult to say how good is Pac. Hatton surely jumped like an idiot with his hands down. But if Pac beat my man Cotto no excuses. Pac is a monster if he do it. Some haters will say that Cotto was finished after the Margo fight but for me it's not true.

I dont consider him champ at 126 after DRAWING with marquez. Marquez had a claim to the title as well by being the unified champ in my opinion. Im pretty sure he did it before pac beat barrera anyway.And some fat **** that writes for ring isnt gonna convince me

 

boxing analysts also compare any young agressive fighter with power to tyson. They compare Wlad to lennox. ect... You can take what these guys say with a grain of salt.

barrera was the king of featherweight at the time. he beat morales, hamed kelley just to name a few. pac beat the man which made him the real champ, not marquez.
