how is pascal not a bigger win then berrio or bika? After the fight pascal went on to win a title in the next weightclass in a war, proving himself as world class.

berrio after the bute fight has done NOTHING. He beat 2 absoulte no hopers with a combined record of 7-20 :patsch. I think berrio has proven that he dosent have much other then a big punch. If he cant land his big punch, then hes not going to beat you. He never even defended his title :nut

Bika is a solid guy, but he has never beaten a great fighter. Yea, he has beaten some contenders LOL. His best wins are against John wayne parr(kickboxing champ), sam soliman(middleweight), and mandredo jr. I would hardly compare this guy to WORLD CHAMP jean pascal

they are both good fighters, but clearly pascal is a level above them :good

I wouldn't even call them flawed. Skills mean nothing if you can't apply them in a fight. Complete fighters can do it all. Limited fighters can't. Everything doesn't have to be smooth in the ring. Dlh was a superb fighter, but he was limited. Mayorga is limited...even Tito was limited. To me being limted is either not being strong enough, not being able to box a guy, or specializing in one punch. Doesn't mean that you can't or won't be great. that's just my definition. Wlad is limited because he can't fight inside or go to your body, yet he keeps on winning.

I dont think a prime DLH was limited!! Certainly not as much as Froch and Pascal!

Anyway its all fine. We'll see.
But i don't think Pascal or Froch will dominate like Wlad...;)

Was prime Mike Tyson limited? :huh Limited is overused and misrepresented term on ESB. Every boxer is limited in some respect. Think about it.

not much. pascal was terrible for diaconu style-wise. his performance really didn't do a whole lot for me. i was somewhat impressed by certain aspects of it, but i concede that most of the things i was impressed with were just amplified by the C grade performance diaconu put forth. to me it showed more of the flaws in diaconu's ability.

it definatly makes frochs stock higher, it was a great acheivment for pascal, i know a lot of people were writing him off before the diaconu fight and he showed a granite chin and a heart which is a rare attribute for a lot of so called champs these days,

ive been impressed with pascal so far and i thought the froch fight was a very close fight and an absolute war, i think froch can take a lot of credit for beating such a tough young fighter like pascal who proved that he is worthy of being world class as is froch cant wait to see how far they both can go

Let's not mention Tatevosyan in comparison with Froch. It makes Bute look bad. Kabary Salem gave him trouble but quit like a ***** in the middle of the fight. Lolanga Mock isn't even a top 20.

Then you're the one not objective. Bika is awkward as hell but he'd never beat Jean Pascal (well an healthy JP).

Losing to Froch made Pascal that much better this time around...The Pascal that showed up against Diaconu would strip froch of hgis belt 7 out of 10 times. Mind you that i am not much of a Pascal fan but he did impress me last week.

The 'limited' Froch was world class amateur, is unbeaten as a pro, and has two wins on his record which easily surpass the best wins on Butes and Kesslers records. Plus, he won his title from an unbeaten fighter and made his first defence in the backyard of a marquee fighter which is almost unprecedented. Not bad for a 'limited' fighter!!:hey

He won the WBC fighting the highest available contender, Jean Pascal. I mean if you saw the fight you know that he deserved that belt.. cause he nearly got his head ripped off in that fight.

Lets see a Froch vs Pascal rematch this time for Pascal's belt at 175 in MTL

That would be a great fight.

Hell, there's a decent chance that Pascal would have won the first one had the fight been in Montreal. I had it close for Froch, but scoring it 7-5 Pascal wasn't unreasonable.
