I would give the Wlad that got knocked out by brewster a much bigger chance than todays version of Wlad.
He was like 41 years old and 10 years past his prime, thats see what Wlad's chin will look like in another 7 or so years. I cant even imagine how easy it will be to knock him out then.
James Toney has since then also been caught using steroids on two different occassions, so you have to also consider he may have been juiced up to fight the washed up Evander, I know this, everybody at Wildcard Boxing has openly spoke about James using steroids for a very very long time.
read again what this thread is about ,it says prime holyfield. if the version that lost to toney fights wlad yeah ,wlad probably might put up a fight, but that is not what is specified. prime holyfield causes way too many problems for wlad. wlad hasnt fought anyone in the pedigree range of a prime holyfield.
i'm pretty sure he didn't use them prior to moving up to HW. ---------------------------------------------------------- one of the best HW counterpunchers of all-time vs. Wlad Holyfield KO.
You mean Holyfield and Toney yes they did and Evander was clearly past his prime, we are talking about the prime Evander who fought Dokes Douglas and Rodriguez, that guy back in 91 I dont think we will ever see a fighter like that in our life time seriously not at heavyweight anyways.
That was also a past-prime Holyfield, and Lewis is nowhere near as chinny as Wlad. It's not like Holyfield had a problem getting on the inside, and that's the important part of the analysis. I think the Holyfield who fought Bowe knocks him out in the late rounds. The Holyfield who lost to Lewis probably loses a unanimous decision, but wins more rounds in a single fight than anyone else has done against Wlad in his entire career.
