MSM is a personal favorite of mine and is in some of my personal favorite fights...But when you look back Chacon was in a lot of classics himself.
I think it all comes down to which type of fights you prefer. Saad Muhammads had a lot more skill in them with great shifts of momentum, while Chacon's fights were much more frenzied, with a whole lot of infighting.
I can't choose. As mentioned, Saad's efforts were more technically "correct" if I may use that terminology, whereas it seemed Chacon's successes were due to his overall savvy and instinct combined with his own toughness. Not that either lacked in toughness of course. For instance, Chacon would lure you in to throw punches by dropping his hands and sticking out his face, then he pulled back once you committed and punished you with a fusilade of odd punches. He had a knack of always looking off-balance, but it usually didn't result in anything too bad for him.
