Povetkin is only man who can beat Wlad. He is next for Wlad this year and I think that will win over Klitschko.

Id take wlad also, but think pov will surprise people, also why in that first list does it say he cant take a big punch ?, hes never been down or beat, so what makes anyone think that then ?

Because he hasn't fought anyone with a punch, that's why.
His oponents KO list usually consists of one-digit numbers.

I think it is too early for Sasha to go for the ukrainian. But , since he has the title shot why not fight? Who knows ? I don't think he will get KO , but he will lose :|
But he has the whole future in front of him to get a belt ( so does Boytsov )

Povetkin is a legit top 5 hw. He is very skilled inside and has good handspeed and decent pop. He's aggressive but relatively untested against big punchers.

I didn't like his reaction to Chambers' right hands. He was a little stunned and bothered. Wlad delivers with as much speed but with more leverage and way more power than Eddie. Swelling could be an issue too.

If Povetkin can't close the distance effectively, he will be massacred cause he doesn't have a high guard and doesn't tuck his chin away like Chagaev.

IMO, he has to hurt Wlad early to get him on edge and try to wear Wlad down to the body.

However, Wlad is too quick with both his feet and hands for Povetkin. He is much stronger and far more polished.

Wlad tko6. It could be a demolition job. Povetkin would be wise to avoid this fight again.

The sad thing is that outside of Vitali, Povetkin is the best the HW with the best chance against Wald. Which is just a punchers chance. The only who has more than a punchers chance against Wald is Vatali. And they wont fight.

Chambers, (even though he beat him) Dimitrenko, Kevin Johnson, and Chris Arreola is better than Povetkin.

    Chambers is not better obviously
    Dimikrenko - arguable
Kevin Johnson - Not a snowballs chance in hell against Wald he doesn't have the power
Chris Arreola - Natural talent that can never get in shape

Wlad by ko, Povetking was very hyped at first but know the hype is down the train since He has been performing very averege, getting hit a lot, and joining the rest of the heavyweight in term of being slow an fat with no motivation at all.

It's very sad that Povetkin doesn't get any praise from the american boxing audience whatsoever... This means that should WK beat him, he's getting no credit - as usual.

BTW, Teddy Atlas offered Povetkin his services. Said he'll teach him how to get through that jab. I hear Povetkin's team are thinking of hiring him.
