    30 fights by 1998. 45 fights in 2009.

    That's why Tua doesn't matter.

If he does I hope Tua has Rock Neuman in his corner that would be almost good a tag team as Bowe and Neuman were.

Indeed. Indeed. I don't know if Rock Neuman still has the ability to clothesline people though.

Thanks for the info my friend. Bad bad idea to take a month off for Tua. Terrible idea. I can see wanting to get a rest, but not a whole month.:-(

    Why not?

He still has 3 months to get in shape after.Actually after training for a few moths and not fighting he needs to rest both physicallt and mentally and enter training with the thougt he already has a some training while his opponent broke his hand.

At his age he shouldn't be taking a month off. Foreman didn't take a month off after he started training for his big comeback (that I can think of anyway). I can see 2 weeks or so, but not a whole month. He will balloon up again and because of his age, he will be stiff and rusty again. But at the same time, if he is confident of getting down to a prime weight within the alotted time frame, then he should go for it.

Should of been a week. But there's time off and time off. I'm assuming he'll be in the gym occasionally, and some cardio. Just not hard training. But I don't know this. What I do know is that he vowed to be in the best shape of his life (heard that before). The other nite, Cameron told an interviewer that Tua needs to stop eating and start training. This is getting ugly. Will only motivate Tua. Without Cameron, I'm not sure Tua would have come out of "inactivity."

Dude,he's gonna have a full 3 month training camp. The other fellow said he''ll be watching his weight altough not training.
How out of shape can he get in a month?
Think about it if he would have been training........he would have been training 9 months straight for Cameron. That would be murder on the body and also mentally.
3 months is more than enough to get in shape plus the work he already put in.In the meanwhile he can promote the fight.

I suppose you are right. But think of how much Somoans can eat and gain in weight!! A whole month off could lead to him having to start all over again from scratch.

That's what I'm saying,3 months is enough even if he starts all over from scratch.3 months is a full camp.

And you imagine he won't get real fat in this month off.

Altough like I said he said ''he was ready'' in the video and looks 260ish.

I agree with what you say now. But what I highlighted is what I am saying. It could be the suit, or it could be his bulging belly, we just don't know at this point in time. But I am starting to come around and realize that what you are saying about the layoff is acceptable. Don't want to burn yourself out before the fight.

    Exactly.

At 36,almost 37 coming off a 2 year layoff you don't wanna train 9 damn months for a fight.

    3 is enough.

Anyway if he can't beat Cameron with 3 months of training especially with the dude having a recent broken arm he's done.

 Alright already, you have convinced me my friend. I agree, if he can't finish off Cameron, he is done in boxing (side note; broken hand not arm ;)).
