I'd favor Haye. Ruiz has trouble with speed. He does better against bigger heavier guys. Ruiz has a chance though because he seems to have the most trouble with fighters under 6' tall.

Haye would end up KOing Ruiz early. It'd probably look like the Golota-Ruiz fight except this time Ruiz gets stopped.

Too me this is a toss up fight, Haye probably a better boxer Ruiz lot's of big fights at heavy so more experience.

 

Haye in early rounds...But Ruiz clinch a lot and with that weight, Haye may wear down on later rounds that could be ruiz advantage..

I dont really know about Haye's conditioning if he can easily go 12rnds...

 

But it's not as if he's been embarassed in any of those fights. In fact, he should have got the decision in at least 1 of them.

I think Ruiz hits on Barrett's level, except he's more likely to land a well placed shot. Barrett apparently floored Haye.

Haye's chin is china. I think Ruiz if he lands solid can prove that.

I want Haye to get rid of Ruiz. 50/50 type of match.

 

Ruiz didn't hit hard enough to knock out a blown up middleweight who was knocked cold in two of his next three fights. That should tell you all you need to know.

Want more?? Ruiz has NEVER, I repeat NEVER, scored a clean KO over anyone above the journeyman level at HW. And his only TKO of someone better was glass-jawed fringe contender Fres Oquendo. Even then, Oquendo was stopped on his feet.

Haye's chin is shaky as hell, but Ruiz doesn't have what it takes to take advantage of it, either in terms of power or skill.
