    :thumbsup u nailed it on the head...i think roach going too far wit the split thought..60-40 should be the split maybe even 62-38..but 70-30!!?? HELL NO Cotto deserves way more then that,and pac shouldent get that much

    Pac is the draw, but 70-30 is too much for anyone.

    70/30 is equal to around 14mil /6 mil rounded up estimate for the fight
    this is based on roach saying he wanted pac to get more then 12.5mil for the fight

    cotto made 3.2 mill against SSM his highest payday to date so getting the smaller cut from a 70/30 split is still almost double his bank

    Roach agrees on 145 lbs for Pac-Cotto . . . fine . . . no problem. . . . but wants 70/30 split . . . this is where the problem lies.

    Roach is just a trainer and should not dip his finger into the purse part of the negotiation. :yep

    This content is protected

    70-30 for Team Pac

    Won't be surprised if it's either one. Cotto will be coming in full/normal fighting weight which is dangerous for Pac who will be significantly outweighed (might be a good thing for his speed). No doubt he deserves the bigger share. Cotto's biggest payday that looks to be at least 5-6 mil. No harm.
